If you haven’t already noticed, there are a lot of items needed to create a beautiful wedding. One of the biggest expenses is the décor. For instance, you want the Mandap/Alter to be beautifully decorated, and you want stunning centerpieces on every table. Before you start counting pennies, there is good news! You don’t have to buy everything! You can rent many of the items you need for your big day.
The Upside of Rental Items
Rental items are cost-effective. You pay a rental fee instead of purchasing items new. This is always cheaper than purchasing new items. You also return the items after the wedding is over, so you don’t have to worry about what to do with thirty centerpieces or a giant arbor.
The Downside of Rental Items
Your options may be limited to the items your vendor has available. If you have your heart set on a different style, you may have to purchase the item yourself. Also, you don’t get to keep the items. If you wanted to send centerpieces home with important family members or have your DJ give away the centerpieces, you shouldn’t rent the items. It will be too much work to try to collect rented items from guests after the wedding.
How to Find Rental Items
